Lens
I absolutely adore this lens — it’s not only incredibly affordable and offers excellent value for money, but it also produces breathtakingly beautiful photographs. If you’ve always dreamt of capturing images with that coveted depth and dreamy, blurred background, known as “bokeh,” then this lens will be your ultimate companion. Personally, I usually rely on it for capturing the intricate details of food and drinks, as well as for shooting accessories and products. It truly brings out the best in these subjects, resulting in stunning and captivating shots that will leave you in awe.
Now, let’s compare the two images below. In the first image, where the product, my hand and back are in sharp focus, you’ll immediately notice the beautifully blurred leafs in the background and covering part of my hair. This effect is commonly known as “bokeh.” On the other hand, in the second image, the focus is on the subject (me), while the foreground appear intentionally blurred. This deliberate blurring of the foreground adds depth and visual interest to the overall composition of the image.
Note: The 50mm lens has a fixed focal length, which means you can’t zoom in or out. Instead, you’ll need to physically move closer or farther from your subject.

DJI Mini 3 Pro
In 2021, I took a leap and finally got myself a drone to elevate my travel photography and video content creation. Let me tell you, I wish I had invested in one much earlier! While drones may seem daunting, the DJI Mini 3 Pro has made it incredibly easy for me to fly and capture stunning footage.
This drone is a lightweight powerhouse that allows me to film both horizontally and vertically, making it perfect for creating captivating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube shorts as well as long form content videos. Plus, it captures everything in stunning 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, ensuring high-quality content that truly pops.
